Michael Shelden has received accolades for his biographies, including his Pulitzer Prize-nominated Mark Twain: Man in White and his most recent work, Melville in Love: The Secret Life of Herman Melville. He'll discuss the art of writing biographies as part of Indiana Humanities' Novel Conversations Speakers Program, sponsored by a grant from the Glick Fund.

Travel back to the 1950s with Dr. Rock & the Rollers. The revival band, which includes Darry Hood from Greenfield and Gary Hunt from Charlottesville,  has five core musicians playing guitar, bass, multi-keyboard, sax, flugelhorn and percussion with vocals backed up by the "Do-Wop Girls."
