April 2017: Dr. Chisholm Launches Thoughts From the CEO Blog to Share Experiences with Greater Cleveland

The Council for Economic Opportunities' President and CEO,  Dr. Jacklyn Chisholm , has the honor of meeting a lot of Clevelanders.  In fact, she believes one of the best parts of her job is talking with people across the Cleveland area, and hearing their stories.

Now, she's sharing the stories she's hearing from them with you!  Each week, she'll blog about those experiences to give you an inside look of the important work the Council does each day. Dr. Chisholm is excited to deepen her connection to the people of Cleveland by sharing these stories and experiences with you.

The  Thoughts from the CEO blog is updated every Friday. It can be found on our website, and on Dr. Chisholm's LinkedIn page .

Studies show that a child's first 2,000 days of life are the most formative. Preschool offers the chance for children to develop their social and academic skills in a safe, informative environment. Research shows kids who attend preschool have a greater chance for long-term success in life. The Council for Economic Opportunities offers high-quality preschool education to income-eligible families in Cuyahoga County.
