Spring Has Arrived!

Need another GREAT Reason to Shop Local ...
  AND Support the Barnabas Endowment?

A pril 27th is going to be a great day! It's going to be one of those rare days where you can treat yourself to some new fashions, a great lunch AND support our local retailers, all while raising important funds for the Barnabas Endowment Campaign.  This is a "Win-Win"!
10 percent of the total sales at these local shops on Thursday, April 27th will be donated in support of our Campaign for Sustainability Endowment Fund. If that doesn't make you feel good about shopping, consider this...one of our favorite donors will also make a donation to the endowment fund equal to 100 percent of the day's sales at all of the participating retailers!
So, please go out on the 27th and shop with abandon. Treat yourself to a delicious lunch at the Picnic Basket, then buy a piece of art to add beauty to your home from Art on Centre. Pick up something pretty, fashionable and unique at Pearl, lori lulu, and Fernandina's newest men's shop, JJ Cooper.
At the end of the day, you should feel great knowing that your contributions will help ensure that Barnabas' programs will help serve Nassau County residents for years to come. Our local shop owners will be most appreciative, too.  Would you like to learn more about our Campaign for Sustainability? Just click HERE and scroll down to the bottom and watch a short video to get all the details.  Please mark your calendars for Thursday, April 27th and see you on Centre Street!

Barnabas Clients Tell Their Stories

If you have ever wondered how the services we offer affect our  participants, this video really answers the question. Please take a minute and watch the video, it's your donations that keep the programs going, 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Whether its assistance during a crisis, medical or dental treatment or a trip to our Food Pantry, what Barnabas provides to the citizens of Nassau County is invaluable. Thank you for your donations and ongoing support! Remember, your donations make a difference!

Volunteers Make our World Go Around!

Korbyn Mingledorf (L) and Liz Williams Americorps volunteers lend a hand in the Barnabas Food Pantry.
Barnabas has served Nassau County citizens for 30 years. In that time, volunteers from the community have served our organization in immeasurable ways. Currently, Barnabas has a corps of dedicated volunteers that numbers nearly 200 strong. They lend their time and talent selflessly and many have been with Barnabas for years. If you would like to volunteer at Barnabas, please give Lynne Starling a call at 261-0700 ext 118.
To say "Thanks" to all our volunteers, we're having a 1950s-themed cook out on April 24th at 5:30 pm at Littleberry Farm in Yulee. Want to RSVP? Click HERE!

Your Monthly Donation Could Help Fulfill
 Daily Needs in Our Community

Every day in our community, our Nassau County neighbors struggle to make decisions about putting food on their tables, paying rent or utility bills, and purchasing medications or gas for transportation. Consequently, these individuals and families seek help from Barnabas for a range of services, including food, emergency rent and utility payments, medical and dental care, and much more.
The daily need for services never ends, so would you please consider helping our neighbors by establishing a recurring, monthly donation to help us provide these essentials? Your monthly gift allows you to spread the payments across the year, lessening your larger, one-time financial impact. Plus, your recurring donation helps Barnabas improve its long-range planning and decision-making.
Please visit Barnabas' secure online donation page to set up your recurring donation. Or click on the green "Donate Now" button on the upper right. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration and willingness to help our neighbors in need.
