|GAMBLE ROGERS FOOD PANTRY
GRMS has started stocking a food pantry to service the less fortunate students in our school. Each Friday we send home 22 bags of food to feed 55 students. These bags provide enough food for these students to have breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner throughout the weekend.
Our sincere gratitude is extended to the following organizations that have made food and/or monetary donations:
Lutheran Memorial Church, Hugs Across the County, The Furyk Foundation, Ponte Vedra Democratic Club, Christ the Redeemer Church, Natural Life, St. Augustine Lions Club, GRMS Student Government, St. Augustine Christian Coalition, and the Faculty/Staff of Gamble Rogers
If you would like to help us help GRMS families in need, with food and/or monetary donations please contact Kendell Hardwick, school nurse or Dawn Wynn, executive secretary at (904) 547-8700.
FROM the NURSE--
Can you believe school is almost over? It has been quite a busy year in the clinic and I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for your children.
As we near the end of the school year, I would like to remind you that if your child has medication in the clinic it should be picked up from the clinic by
Wednesday, May 31st by 1:00pm.
It will be important for you to make arrangements to pick up your child's medication since it may not go home with the student. Any medications left in the clinic after May 31st will be discarded according to policy.
If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse, Mrs. Hardwick at 904.547.8710 Have a safe and healthy summer!

Agriscience Update: Thank you to all the parents who donated supplies to the Agriscience program to begin the final semester. A special thank you to Winston Radford of Radcraft Construction who donated all the lumber and hardware for the building of a new greenhouse. The students of Mike Rosenburg's Building Academy classes at Pedro Menendez are currently building the new greenhouse.
The potatoes donated by Ms. Wells are about to bloom and should be ready for harvest the first of May. The students have been germinating herbs and vegetables to grow in our hydroponic systems. The herbs and vegetables were transplanted into the hydroponic systems before we started spring break.
Thank You for Your Support!
