APRIL 2018
April is a busy month, and it's busy here at the yarn shop. We're going to go a bit "bare bones" for April, because those of us working, and teaching here have a lot of extra things going on this month, too! We'll work on some new class projects and ideas to bring to you in May!
In the mean time - here are some of what is going on in April:
First of all, a reminder that the shop is now on Spring/Summer hours:
Tuesdays 10-7 Wed.-Fri. 10-5 Saturdays 10-3
This means that we CLOSE AT 3 on SATURDAYS!!

Local Yarn Store Day is a
brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day created by The National Needlearts Association.




The inaugural LYS Day will take place on April 21 and is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft.

I-91 Shop Hop 2018
If you haven't participated in the I-91 Shop Hop in years past, why not give it a go this year? All 11 shops put their "best foot forward" for this weekend in June, to welcome you! It's a great way to see how different each shop is and how each one reflects the personality of it's owner(s).
Dates are JUNE 21 - 24, 2018
Passports are $5 at any participating shop and come with a reusable shopping bag. During the Hop, your passport is stamped at each shop that you visit, and you are entered in that shop's daily doorprize drawing, as well. If you visit all the shops during the 4 days, you are entered into the grand prize drawing. Each shop also has special patterns to give away to participants, as well as kits made up for purchase.

Wed., April 11 &18, 5:30-7 p.m. $24
Select the All Shawl by Doris Chan or Wingfeathers Shawl by Cal Patch and stitch a versatile piece that will take you through the chilly evenings of spring and early summer. Both patterns will work with almost ANY yarn!

Finish that Crochet Project!
April 25, 5:30-7 $12
Do you have a crochet project you started but don't know how to finish? Bring it, along with the pattern and any instructions, and get back on track.
