Using a Sand Spreader to Mulch Liners

This video from Decker's Nursery shows how they apply pine bark to mulch liners for winter protection.  Brian Decker says "We can do a couple of passes or travel slower to get the layer thick enough for weed prevention without excessive herbicide usage. This machine is a sand spreading machine modified to hold about 2 cubic yards of material."

Student Conference Scholarships Available

The Eastern Region is pleased to offer scholarships for qualifying students to cover registration costs for the 2017 Annual Conference being held in Grand Rapids, MI from October 11-14. The scholarship may be applied for 1,2,3 or all 4 days of the event. The deadline for application is fast approaching: May 1, 2017.  This is a great opportunity for students to catch the IPPS bug and connect with future employers and colleagues.
