Easter Fun

Now that most children are enjoying their Easter holidays we thought we would spot some patterns that are perfect for you if you want to introduce your kids to knitting or crochet.

Isn't this  Easter Spring Chicken by Jo Macgregor  just adorable.  She designed it especially for her daughter when she was learning to knit.

This  Mini Crocheted Spring Basket by Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood is just what you need for your Easter egg hunt.  You can crochet it in just one colour or a whole rainbow of shades.

What could be nicer to brighten up your room at Easter than a garland of brightly coloured pompoms.  They are huge fun to make and a great way to use up scraps of yarn. We have found this tutorial from the appropriately named PomPom magazine.  Don't forget KnitPro has some pompom makaers that are perfect for little hands.

If you know of any other  patterns that you have used to get kids in to crafting, please share them with us on our Facebook page .

A Symfonie of Tools

The KnitPro Symfonie range is much loved by knitters and crocheters alike. Our team of skilled staff craft the needles and hooks from the finest birch wood that is dyed and then densely laminated together to give the distinctive chevrons of colour that make Symfonie tools so instantly recognisable. This process makes our needles and hooks strong but very satisfying to use.

For many knitters, their first experience of KnitPro products is through our Symfonie needles.  The range currently includes straight, fixed circular, DPNs and interchangeables needles.  The straight, interchangeable and double pointed needles are also available in complete sets for the avid knitter as well as Comby sets for those starting out with their craft.

For crocheters we offer single and double ended crochet hooks as well as the increasingly popular Tunisian crochet hooks. But we bet you can't just stop at one hook so we offer them all in great value sets.

If you simply can't get enough of our lovely Symfonie wood you can also buy an elegant shawl pin for your latest lacy project.

As a special treat we will be giving away a set of Tunisian crochet hooks this month so don't forget to scroll down to enter.
