Welcome to April! I have no idea when Spring is going to arrive but I hope soon, since we've turned the calendar to April! With a good chill in the air, I hope you'll find a way into the Stitch House for a workshop or to start a new project. Next Saturday we have Kelly from Romney Ridge coming in for a Needle Felting workshop! It's $40 and include all your materials. It might be a nice afternoon to bring a friend, your mom, or your daughter! This workshop is open to kids 12 and older who have crafting experience.

This past week there was a TV production crew out filming the pilot of the Broad Squad, a show about the first 4 women detectives of the Boston Police Department. We spent the week gawking at stars and posing for pictures with vintage cars. Here's a cool shot:

We also have a number of great upcoming workshops and special events. I hope you find some time to spend with us - save the dates and get your seat reserved!

Maire Treanor will be with us from Ireland, the entire weekend May 2 & 3. She'll be teaching us the stunning, detail work of Clones/Irish Lace. This intensive workshop is for beginner and advanced crocheters (all you need is the chain stitch) to create beautiful motifs, masks, collars, and shawls.

StevenBe will be hosting an evening on Friday, May 8 at Friday Night knitting. He'll bring his trunk show and present a talk a color (he knows color!) and creating fantastic knit pieces.

Make sure you check out what we have brewing for workshops this week and ahead. All great - all have open seats for YOU! Call to reserve your place.

If you really want to treat yourself (you do deserve it!) to a fun and relaxing knitting vacation. Join Shelley Leahy and Sarah Wolf (teacher at Stitch House) as we sail from Boston to Bermuda, July 17-26th. Sarah will be our on-board knitting instructor. Check here for more details.

And, as usual, join us for Friday night knitting at the shop anytime after 6pm. We  will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 5.

Thanks!
Annissa
