APRIL 2018

April 23 is William Shakespeare's birthday and national "Talk Like Shakespeare Day."

Have your online patrons use their emailed receipts as ticketsreceipts
instead of ticket PDFs.

The bad guy in the "Indiana Jones" movie clip above didn't get a seat because he didn't have a ticket. Make sure your patrons get their ticket by having their emailed receipt serve as their ticket instead of attaching their ticket as a PDF. Make sure your patrons understand their receipt is their ticket by adding verbiage like "This receipt serves as your ticket."

In these days of increasing cyber security, more internet service providers (ISPs) look at email attachments like PDFs as potential threats and block them.

Happy patrons=happy box office people!
