THE CLASS OF 2017 GIVES BACK
The Class of 2017 wrapped up the Senior Gift to the Annual Fund on March 10, achieving 95% student participation! This four-week campaign was led by the Senior Class Gift Committee and focused on the Annual Fund's impact on students and teachers. Seniors were asked to donate $5, but we celebrated all gifts. In honor of the campaign's success, the Office of Philanthropy and Engagement treated the class to lunch catered by Boston Burger Co.

PA SPRING SOCIAL RECAP
More than 200 parents and guardians attended this year’s delectable Spring Social: A TASTE of Spring, hosted by the Parent Association on Saturday, April 8. Thank you to all the creative and hard-working parent volunteers who made this event a huge success. See photos from the event and read more.
BVR BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
From an environmental expedition in Belize to a language + music exchange in Cuba to a choral performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, many of our students took their learning from the classroom to the field during spring break and engaged with different cultures and communities. Read more
THE RACE CARD PROJECT AT BEAVER
At last month's Parent Association Assembly, Beaver parents participated in the Race Card Project. Led by Joe Christy, Director of Student Engagement and Liz Skinner, Director of the Hiatt Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement, the event focused on our work in diversity, equity, civic engagement, and inclusion. We look forward to hosting similar gatherings next year for parents and guardians to learn more about Beaver's work with students, faculty, and families. HIATT SUMMER FELLOWSHIP
The Hiatt Summer Fellowship application is open now through May 19. The program grants Beaver students, grades 6-11, the financial support to explore and participate in meaningful leadership and civic engagement work with non-profit organizations.
