Just like in the poem about March winds and April showers, we actually did get some showers in April! That is a blessing for us in California as we need every drop of rain to help us with the drought that we are in right now. Everyone should be thinking about water conservation and doing whatever they can to use less water and conserve as much as possible. With careful management we should get our May flowers!
Since Spring is here, our businesses should be flowering too. It is always wonderful to see new blossoms and breathe fresh, clean air. So, this is a great time to be clearing out the old clutter and making room for the new and energizing things that will make your business grow and prosper. Renew and blossom!
To get some ideas of things that could be considered and renewed, please attend a business event that I'm participating in on April 30th. More information is given below and if you could register to attend it would be really appreciated. If you could also help to promote the event, it would be a great help and also very much appreciated. Please encourage your friends and business owners to come for some brainstorming and networking. It should be a rare and enjoyable event, just like the full eclipse of the moon that we experienced earlier this month!

I am never too busy for your referrals and would be honored to help your friends and associates to grow and expand their businesses this year!

Best wishes for your success.

3 Business Secrets To Learn From Listening To Your Body
Entrepreneur, Eric Schiffer

You may have seen him or her: the strong, well-built, self-assured business leader strutting onto the stage to deliver a dynamic keynote to a packed conference hall. Beneath that well-cut suit is a person who clearly works out.

Why is it that many of the people who lead top companies appear to be in great physical shape? Perhaps the question should be: Why do many successful business leaders also exude physical prowess and health?

It's not just coincidence.

8 Ways to be Constantly Improving
Inc., Lee Colam

Building your competence boosts your confidence...and confidence is a close friend to high achievers. Building your competence is like cleaning your house. If you stop cleaning, dust collects. The need to clean never ends. To achieve the success you deserve, you need to find ways to be constantly improving. The task of building competence never ends.

Competence includes anything that improves your ability to perform--your knowledge, skills, relationships, resourcefulness, processes, systems, and information. Olympic athletes are not only testaments to the human spirit, they are also living examples of competence. Only when we hear their backstories do we fully appreciate all it takes to build Olympic-level competence. We learn about gut-wrenching daily training regimens, strict nutritional standards, rigorous mental discipline, top-notch training equipment, reams of collected data, various supporting relationships, and even past adversities that motivate the Olympian. It is an intentionally developed set of systems and processes designed to produce a golden victory.

So, here are eight proven ways to help you build Olympic-level competence:

17 Things Extraordinary People Do Everyday
Inc., Bill Murphy Jr.

Some people seem to get ahead, no matter what. They aren't necessarily smarter, more creative or harder working than many others. Still, they achieve much more than their peers. Why is that?

The philosopher Aristotle offered an explanation a really, really long time ago: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit."

I meet some of these amazing, extraordinary people just about people every day, as part of my job. They're amazing entrepreneurs, leaders, artists and innovators, and their keys to success aren't complex. Rather, it's the cumulative effect of their simple daily habits.

Here are 17 things the most extraordinary people do every day.
