In addition, certain medications can also affect how their bodies react to changing temperatures. Avoiding strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day, wearing light colored, loose fitting clothing and drinking a lot of water can help prevent heat stroke. Read our blog to learn more about heat stroke symptoms, treatment and prevention.
