Well, you might ask, what is a "rainmaker?"
- A rainmaker is a connector of the right people to the right people for the benefit of all.
- A rainmaker recommends a book he just read to anyone he thinks might enjoy it or benefit from reading it.
- A rainmaker does the same thing with movies, restaurants, experiences and people he thinks others would enjoy.
- He does this because this is who he is. He came from the factory this way.
- He would do this whether or not there were such things as work, or money or business.
- He loves doing this, because he loves other people and because he thinks there is no better way to spend one's time.
Rainmakers have a special place in this world, not only because they are fun to be with, but also because they make big things happen. When they introduce the right people to each other, magic happens.
The trouble is that most rainmakers do not realize the value of their gift. Yet they have the power to achieve all of their dreams, just by doing what they already love to do.
