Greetings!
 The weather has been beautiful here. I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July holiday if you celebrate it.
I spent the day gathering with friends for music outdoors at a hotel patio on Old Orchard Beach. The band is so much fun! They offer a lot of laughs along with great tunes to kick it up a bit. And, I really enjoy getting together with the large group of couples in our circle. Then, it was off to the movies and fireworks!
Guess what? The guys saw Spiderman IMAX 3D. The ladies saw Magic Mike. That was fun!
Now, back to business.

The Tortoise or the Hare? Which is better?
I'm going to update this story and share a new paradigm about business. The tortoise in the story won the race because he was steady and paced himself. This is like making incremental changes in your business. As long as you do keep going, you do get where you want to go, EVENTUALLY. And, that is if you don't get stuck, frustrated, possibly give up your business altogether, or just stay in your comfort zone Staying in your comfort zone is very common if you don't have the guidance you need to travel uncharted waters.  The hare was overly confident, knew he was going to win without getting any extra help and put everything into the fast pace he was able to do short-term. This is like the entrepreneur who feels great about his/her business and does it all alone and wants to get everything done at once. The outcome of this is just like in the story: exhaustion. And, frustration and running in circles, not really know what is most important and most effective. This also comes from naivety of not knowing what is required to really have the success you want. To really be successful and get where you want to go, you need to have a guide who can get you there much faster than you can do on your own (that includes signing up for innumerable teleclasses that are supposed to teach you everything you need to know). The lesson for today is that both characters are outdated. Getting the success you want and desire, and the freedom that comes with it, is going into uncharted waters. Neither one of these actions are going to work. I needed a guide to get where I am. I've had several guides at different points. To get to success, you need to work with someone who is successful and knows how to navigate these waters. This can, and will, save you years of working through this on your own, if you even get there at all. When you make the decision to up level in a big way, your subconscious tries to keep you where you are. It uses whatever means available to keep you from making the changes that threaten the existence of the limiting thoughts and beliefs. I am a mix between the high level of accountability and belief that you can do it and working with you on taking guided action and the person who is experienced and skilled at helping you shift your energy and break through the resistance that comes up when you're working with limiting beliefs.
