What Can Our Primitive Ancestors Teach Us about Healthy Posture, Diet & Patterns of Movement?
Greetings!

You may already know that Dr. Ericksen is a national leader in the field of rehabilitative and regenerative medicine.  What you're about to learn is that Dr. Jeff is passionate about encouraging patients to change their posture, patterns of movement and diet!

Please join us on the evening of Thursday, Sept. 12, for a special presentation by Dr. Jeff Ericksen, where he will explore:

   *   How modern activities, such as sitting motionless and staring at a computer for hours each day, contribute to the modern epidemic of back and leg pain.

    *   How eating lots of high-carbohydrate, processed foods causes inflammation, which can lead to joint pain and other chronic illnesses.

    *   What our primitive ancestors can teach us about posture, patterns of movement and diet that help can restore us to health.

Inspired by the book, Muscles and Meridians by Dr. Phillip Beach, Dr. Jeff advocates that we do more walking and running barefoot and sitting on the floor -- patterns of movement that are more natural to humans. He also suggests that eating a "hunter-gatherer" diet limited mostly to fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, roots and nuts can help prevent inflammation and the development of joint pain and other chronic disease.

If you or a loved one is suffering from back, leg, joint pain or another chronic illness, you may be interested in attending Dr. Jeff's presentation.
