Have you noticed that the stress and strain of Covid-19, the political clash that’s dividing us, and not seeing all your friends, is coming out in your relationships?

Some people are drawing back, emotionally shutting down, or getting aggressive and short tempered.

It’s not pretty.

You might notice that even the people you usually care about are very annoying!

Believe me, you are annoying them too!

We’ve all been jammed into one space, living on top of each other for months on end, not seeing other people, not able to socialize and REALLY talk with our friends (yes we get to video chat but let’s face it... it’s not the same!)

You might notice you’re drinking more alcohol, or binge watching more TV, emotionally eating, or doing other behaviors to “check out”.

You might be keeping your emotions all bottled up because you’re afraid if you let them out all hell will break loose!

I know some people who are feeling distant and alone, even though they’re around other people ALL THE TIME... it’s crazy making.

So what are we supposed to do?

Let’s keep hope alive!
