GENERAL INFORMATION

Dear Arete families,

Arete Prep Athletics is searching for Varsity and JV Volleyball coaches for the Fall 2016 season. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in this position, contact Coach Arnold as soon as possible. 

We are in the last two weeks of the regular season for many of our teams. Check out the Upcoming Events section below to make a game!

Chargers of the Week

Owen Kremer plays for the Middle School Boys B basketball team. The team had exciting games this week with a 20-19 loss to North Phoenix Prep on Wednesday and a 37-26 win over Anthem Prep on Saturday. Owen is tenacious on defense disrupting the opponents offensive flow every game. During both games this week, Owen's steals and assists led to easy baskets for his team mates. He leads the team in scoring, assists and steals for the season. Owen's relentless effort and enthusiasm for the game inspires his teammates to improve and give 100%.

Joe DeBratto plays for the Varsity Baseball team. In two games this week, Joe was five for five at the plate, with a single and four triples. Joe scored six runs, batted in four, and walked once. This performance raised Joe's batting average to .419, second on the team, and raised his slugging percentage to a team leading .833. Joe also played flawless defense in center field and at third and shortstop.

Congratulations to Owen Kremer and Joe DeBratto for being our Chargers of the Week.
