GENERAL INFORMATION

Dear Arete families,

We hope everyone is enjoying their fall break. If you are in town, there are several games/meets this week. Check out the Upcoming Games & Events below to find out when and where to support your Chargers!

Attn: Soccer Players and families. On Oct. 19th, we will be over-seeding the field for winter grass. The first practice for soccer is the week of Nov. 2nd. In order to let the rye grass take root, we need four weeks without practices, lunch time games, or other activities. Therefore, the first two weeks of practices will be off campus at a location TBD. We are working on a location and will let everyone know as soon as possible, but we wanted you to be aware ahead of time. More to come soon.

If you ordered a t-shirt, jacket, or pullover sweatshirt, stop by Coach Arnold's office... everyone's order has arrived!

Are you wondering if/when your athlete has an Early Release? Look no further, you can find the early release schedule for all fall sports HERE.

Charger Spotlight News Report

On Saturday, the middle school boys football team hosted the Glendale Prep Griffins. Everyone could notice something different - an aura of determination. The tackles were a little harder, the rushes were a little more intense, and our Chargers finished the game with a 28-0 victory. Very nice!

The middle school B volleyball team had a busy morning last Saturday when they hosted not one, but two Glendale Prep B teams for a total of four matches. Our girls stepped up to the challenge and won the first match, 2-1. After losing the second match, 0-2, they didn't look back. Our girls shut out their opponent in the following two matches, 2-0 and 2-0. Very nice!

By the way, did you realize our high school JV Volleyball team has only lost one match all season? These girls are fun to watch!

Charger of the Week

Joey Dickerson plays for the middle school football team. Typically, Joey is playing on the defensive line, however, on Saturday he played both sides of the ball lining up at Fullback. Joey was given the ball several times, but two of his rushes went for 40 yards or more. His second long run resulted in a touchdown, igniting the spirit of his teammates. His big plays helped spark the team's first victory against Glendale Prep, 28-0. Congratulations to Joey Dickerson for being the Charger of the Week!
