Weekly News Update

Campus Security

It is in the spirit of open communication that we wish to share with our families a security incident on campus this week. While we never wish to cause alarm, we believe sharing information about campus security can help ensure all our students remain safe.  At approximately 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22nd an unidentified man was found shaving in a boys' restroom in the Archway building. Three Prep students happened upon him; they were not harmed, nor did he speak with them, but they were understandably startled by his presence. The students located Mr. Wagner immediately, and when Mr. Wagner got to the restroom, the man had already left the campus.

As a precautionary measure, we have notified the Gilbert police department who have agreed to be a greater presence around our campus.  We know how the man entered the building and we are taking measures to ensure that cannot happen again.  There was no injury, damage or theft, and we believe the man was a vagrant simply in need of a restroom; however, our students' safety is our utmost concern, and we do not wish to take any chances.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Headmaster Neil Gillingham or Headmaster Robert Wagner
