Come be a part of our Annual Color Fun Run and Family Picnic. The evnt will be held from 9AM-1PM at Freestone Park in Gilbert!

REGISTER TO RUN!

Join the Fun Run while helping our class of 2017 raise money for their Senior Trip to Washington D.C. Register HERE to participate in the 5K or 1.5 mile runs. All Fun Run proceeds go to the 2017 Senior Trip. (A Fun Run t-shirt is included in the pre-registration fee. T-shirts will not be guaranteed for same-day registrations).

PRE-ORDER PICNIC WRISTBANDS FOR GAMES & RIDES:

We will have lots of games, prizes, bouncers, a giant slide, obstacle course, Zorb Balls and much more! Be sure to pre-order your Picnic wristbands for $7 each or family for $35 by Monday Feb. 22nd. Wristbands will be on sale the day of the event for $10 each with no family discount. (See included order form for more details.)

TUFT & NEEDLE MATTRESS RAFFLE

Raffle tickets for a new Tuft and Needle Mattress will be sold at the Arete Color Fun Run/Family Picnic. $5/ticket or $20 for 5 tickets. Drawing for the mattress will be at the end of the picnic. Lost n Found Lunch Gear

Many of our students leave behind lunch boxes and water bottles in the gym at lunchtime. These items are transferred to our Lost n Found, and it gets very full! Please remind your student to check there regularly to retrieve forgotten items.

Great Hearts Gala

Thank you to everyone who attended our "Cocktails and Conversation" party last evening, graciously hosted at the home of Michele Davis. This gathering of Chandler and Arete families shared plans for the first Great Hearts Gala, slated for October 1, 2016, at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix. At this event, Great Hearts President, Erik Twist spoke about the history of Great Hearts and the vision ahead. Jerilyn Olson, Great Hearts Talent Officer, spoke to us about programs that Great Hearts would like to implement to support our wonderful teachers across the Great Hearts network. All gala proceeds will go to support programs designed to recruit, develop and retain the best teachers for our students. Families should watch for a Save-the-Date and more details coming soon.

Families interested in supporting the gala can plan to purchase tickets to attend and/or sponsor a table. You also can help us connect with corporations in the Phoenix area who might support this event or by helping us bring in live auction items.
