Happening This Week in Argenta

Through January 20: "Images from the South" at Laman Library, Main Branch. On loan from the Arkansas Arts Center, this exhibition allows viewers to take a look at the southern culture through artists' eyes. The South has rich traditions - friendliness, influential music, spirituality, storytelling and closeness to the land. Some would say that southern culture is currently on its way toward becoming a sentimental thing of the past. This exhibit asks the viewer to contemplate what IS southern culture? Call 501-758-1720 or visit www.LamanLibrary.org for details.
