Happy Christmas from us all at Arrhythmia Alliance!
|
|
Throughout 2017, Arrhythmia Alliance’s main focus has been to ‘Identify the Undiagnosed Person’. Sadly, we are aware that around a third of people who have an arrhythmia, are unaware that they have one. With the launch of our new booklet ‘Identifying the Undiagnosed person’ (available for download
here)
, and campaigns such as ‘Know Your Pulse’, we hope to see this figure dramatically reduced in the coming years.

Our patient surveys continue to provide evidence that improvement in patient care is continuously needed.
One showing that 3 out of 4 doctors used the results from a mobile ECG device to make a diagnosis.
*
Another showing that 15% of respondents had an infection following a device implant.
*
And then one showing that 7% of AF patients had no symptoms.
We will be doing many more surveys going into 2018 so please keep your eyes peeled!
