Announcing the 2018 Artstreet Logo
The title of 2018 Artstreet Image Design Competition
has been awarded to Kimberly Vlies.  Her design will be the official image the 2018 Artstreet fine arts festival and will be displayed on posters, t-shirts, and other promotional materials.

For nearly four decades now, Artstreet has been bringing the community together to experience artwork from hundreds of artists from around the country right here in downtown Green Bay.

Vlies was asked what inspired her to do the design, "When I began conceptualizing my  depiction of Artstreet 2018, I set out to capture the spirit and bustle of a vibrant cultural event I  find so completely captivating and inspiring. The canopies are more than just traditional tents,  but represent the individual treasures they contain. The flourishes symbolize how Artstreet  positively overflows with both visual and performing arts of all subjects, styles, mediums, and
expressions," says Kimberly. Vlies hopes that this graphic communicates Artstreet as a festival  truly filled with beautiful experiences delighting the senses at every turn.

The annual Artstreet Image Design Competition is open to all ages interested in  submitting a design that conveys the essence of the Artstreet fine arts festival. This  year's event is to be held August 24, 25 and 26 in downtown Green Bay.

N.E.W. Queerness - The Art Show
N.E.W. Queerness will explore artists' experiences of the gender and sexuality spectra in our unique part of the world. Northeast Wisconsin is rich in queer culture that has sometimes been asked to remain in the shadows. The ARTgarage has invited LGBTQA+ artists to show their work and share their stories in the light.

The show will be on display from July 10 -July 28 with the opening reception on Friday, July 13 from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Visit the opening reception for a night of performing and visual arts as the ARTgarage celebrates queer artists in our community.
