For the month of August, the "From a Different Angle" exhibit will be at The 567. The exhibit will feature 3D work by local artists. Artwork will include decorative and functional ceramic art, glass work, and mixed media work.

Artists included in the exhibit: Patrick Aistrup, Lori Buff, Chris Fiertner, Micah Goguen, Deanna Griffin, Michael Klapthor, Kathy Murphy, and Joy Raynor

Join us this Friday, Aug. 2, to see the new exhibit and meet the artists. On Aug. 24, join us for "Coffee Talk with the Artists" to hear Joy Raynor and Kathy Murphy discuss their artwork and how they became artists. The exhibit will be on display Aug. 2-Sept. 1. The gallery and this event are free and open to the public.

Kool-Aid & Canvas- Aug. 17

In Kool-Aid & Canvas, kids get to feel like they're a real artist painting on canvas. While they're having fun, they're also learning artistic techniques like shading with color and outlining. $20 includes all materials and a snack. Our next Kool-Aid & Canvas is Aug. 17, 10-11:30 am, and kids will learn to paint a lion (see above).
Corks & Canvas - August 3, 9, 15, and 23

Corks & Canvas is a fun, beginner-friendly painting workshop where you can relax, hang out with friends, and sip on your favorite bottle of wine (or other beverage) while a local artist teaches you how to recreate a beautiful 11 x 14 painting to hang on your wall or give to a friend or family member. Most of the students have never painted before, but everyone always has a great time.  $25 includes all materials (except your favorite beverage). Space is limited, so register today!
