I've returned from my most spiritual journey of Hajj (in Saudi Arabia), and have some exciting new updates & new friends to share it with! First of all, for those that don't know, NJARTitecture stands for "Nadia Janjua Art + Architecture." I am an Artist and Architect and I use this Newsletter to keep supporters and patrons in the loop about my art sales, exhibits and projects. Now, in less than a week I'm going to be traveling to * Turkey * inshaAllah (God willing). I had booked my flight before the two major earthquakes happened on October 23rd & November 9th, and upon reading about the disastrous effects of the earthquake when I returned, I decided to raise funds for victims of the Earthquake through sales of my art work, and direct deposit donations. Various factors are holding me back from being able to travel to Eastern Turkey myself, so I've been researching and communicating with my Turkish contacts to find a local group in that will mobilize supplies (mainly tents & blankets) to the victims and survivors of the earthquake :: all donations will be donated to this group. For now, Turkish Red Crescent Society is my top choice, and I will confirm that once I am in Turkey, inshaAllah. Featured items are shown below, and please keep in mind that ** 30% of all purchases are being donated to Turkey Earthquake Relief! ** On a different note , I've started a blog about my Hajj experience! Please be patient with me as I gather myself to write about it over the next few months - I've only just started it, but I have so many beautiful things to share about my journey, and I hope inshaAllah you'll give me the time and take a read every now and then.
