FARM CONNECTIONS
|
Learn about agriculture in Durham Region. Durham Farm Connections is hosting an evening open house on April 2, at Luther Vipond Memorial Arena in Brooklin. Bring the whole family to meet local farmers and their animals, learn about how crops are grown and where your food comes from. Live demonstrations will take place throughout the evening. Admission is free, but donations of non-perishable food items will be gratefully accepted.

SPRING ART FESTIVAL
|
Experience all things "art" at the Oshawa Art Association's Spring Art Festival. This art show and sale will be held from April 25 to 27, on the Camp Samac grounds in Oshawa. The show is scheduled to host 74 painters and two potters. Admission is free.

DAVID GOGO BLUES CONCERT
|
David Gogo is one of Canada's most prolific blues guitar virtuosos. Whether he's showcasing his blistering guitar licks and soulful vocals during an electric performance, or drawing the crowd in with his humour and down-to-earth personality during an acoustic show, audiences everywhere can attest to Gogo's outstanding talent. Catch his performance in Ajax on April 25, presented by Music By the Bay Live.

This year's Durham West Arts Centre 2014 Studio Tour will host an expanded roster of 29 artists and a greater variety of work for sale. The tour takes place April 26 and 27, and offers a unique opportunity to visit the homes and studios of local artists, as well those who occupy living and working spaces in the country. Visitors will enjoy a behind-the-scenes view of making art, and share the ambiance of a creative space.

Grab your friends, girlfriends, moms, sisters and daughters for a fabulous evening of shopping, dining and special surprises. The annual Diva Night event takes place in downtown Port Perry with live music, shopping in a unique collection of boutiques, and scrumptious treats from local restaurants and caf�s. JURIED PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

PineRidge Arts Council is delighted to present its first Juried Photography Exhibition in Ajax. The exhibition will be in the Atrium of the McLean Community Centre, and will feature the works of Durham photographers.
