The artsVest program achieves great success in Orangeville
Business for the Arts celebrated Orangeville's high level of success in the artsVest program with an event at Town Hall June 16. The program resulted in total investment of $84,104 in Orangeville's cultural economy.
Cultural Entrepreneurship Program results in successful creative businesses
The Orangeville & Area Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) launch a new training and mentorship pilot program for entrepreneurs in the arts and culture sector this year. Ten participants were presented with grants on June 28th at Town Hall.
New signs outline heritage facts about Mill Creek
Mill Creek has new interpretive signs noting its history in Orangeville. The signs were a project of Heritage Orangeville and the Arts and Culture Committee and were recently erected as part of Tourism Week.

Get Involved in Culture Days 2016
For the seventh year, Orangeville will join hundreds of communities across the country celebrating Culture Days. This three-day event, running September 30, October 1 and 2, is a collaborative movement to encourage awareness, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
Utility box art program announced for downtown Orangeville
The Town of Orangeville has just launched a new arts-based project designed to recognize local artists, celebrate the Town's culture and history, and promote Orangeville as an arts and culture hub for the region.

If you know of an upcoming event and/or activity or have some other arts and culture related information you would like to share with the community, please feel free to submit details to Cassandra Engineer, Business, Tourism and Culture Co-ordinator for the Town of Orangeville. To have your event featured in an upcoming newsletter, please submit your information by the last Friday of each month. Be sure to include the event name, location, contact information, brief description and photo if possible.
