As a child he was "too fat and his head was so big that his mother feared it was misshapen or damaged."
He didn't speak until he was 4 years old. There was nothing to indicate the little child would grow up to develop the theory of relativity and become the most influential physicist of the 20th century. The child was Albert Einstein.
Never underestimate the potential of anyone...especially yourself. You are a magnificent work in progress...gathering a lifetime of specific experiences necessary to transform you into the exact person God intended you to become. Be positive and never give up! As you draw on your innermost determination and perseverance, you will discover those unique talents God has placed within you. You will come to know that everything you ever needed to fulfill your hopes and dreams lies within you.
Have you been demoted, laid off or fired? Are the negative tapes from your childhood playing over and over in your head? Are you afraid to fail or venture out into the unknown? Do you question your capabilities? Have courage! Be an active participant in life. Believe in yourself and in God's plan for you.
Learn something new each day. Look beyond yourself and discover ways in which you can impact the lives of others-especially those who are feeling hopeless and defeated. For once you divert your focus from yourself and reach out to others, it is then that God's plan for you will begin to unfold and your true purpose will be revealed to you.
Albert Einstein may have been underestimated, but proved wrong those who judged him at face value. Don't settle for mediocrity. "Just as the caterpillar thought the world was over, it was transformed into a butterfly." You too must open your eyes and your heart to the divine transformation taking place within you.
