The awards, which honors multi-ethnic executives for their leadership and contributions to their companies and the industry, will be presented in four categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company/Disciplines and Creative Disciplines. Nominations deadline for this year's Next Generation Leaders Awards is June 1.

The T. Howard Foundation's annual Diversity Awards Dinner and 25th Anniversary celebration was held Monday night at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC. The evening included a silent auction fundraiser for the foundation, which has provided hundreds of students with work experience through its partnership with media companies. AMC Networks pres/CEO Josh Sapan received the Corporate Leadership Award, Univision Communications pres/CEO Randy Falco accepted the Corporate Excellence Award on behalf of his company and ABC News senior legal correspondent and analyst Sunny Hustin was given the Diversity Advocate Award for her work in telling the stories of the voiceless.

Broadway World
KCET, the nation's largest independent public television station, announced today that new episodes of PACIFIC HEARTBEAT will be telecast in May to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month on KCET in Southern  California.

In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, HBO will premiere the second installment of Asian Pacific American Visionaries, a short film program featuring the works of emerging Asian American directors on May 7th.

"Resistance at Tule Lake" is the first of six documentaries that PBS and World Channel will air in tandem with the Center for Asian American Media during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month this May.
