A few weeks ago now, I had an experience that left me feeling vulnerable. Vulnerable about the safety and protection of my child.
So as I was putting her to bed that evening, even as I was tucking her in and praying over her, I was inwardly talking to God, my Dad, my Friend, my Protector.
Lord, I'm having a hard time. I know You're my child's Protector. But today was scary. So...would You remind me? Would You show me? Would You open my eyes to see what You see?
And as I sat there, beside her bed, eyes closed, God gave me a picture. A picture of my child's bed, totally surrounded by angels, guarding, protecting.
And I was reminded. Reminded again. That our God, my God, my Dad, the One who knows me, the One who loves me...cares about me! Really cares. About every part, every aspect of my life! Not just the big things, not just the little things. But everything! Every part, from my mommy-heart to my daughter-heart.
He knows me. He loves me. And He loves to answer me.
He's not frustrated when I ask again to be reminded. When I ask again to see. He's delighted! Delighted to talk with me. Delighted to answer me. Delighted to reveal Himself to me.
And so today, I encourage you. Whatever it is that you may be feeling vulnerable about. Whatever it is that you wonder about. Ask! Ask your Dad! Ask Him!
He's so delighted in your questions! He's so delighted in being asked! And He's so delighted to answer.
He loves you!

Elisha said, "Don't be afraid. The army that fights for us is larger than the one against us." Then Elisha prayed, "Lord, open my servant's eyes, and let him see." The Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw... 2 Kings 6:15-17
Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it - the Lord is His name,
'Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know...
Jeremiah 33:2 AMP
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]! He will cover you and completely protect you...and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. Psalm 91:1-2,4 AMP
