Patriot Paving will be on site to apply a slurry seal cap on the entire dive lane surface. There will be two phases of this application. Phase 1 will be 95% coverage of the asphalt surface, leaving an opening in front of the hot walkers and fire hydrant to allow for equestrians to cross the road (shown on the map in yellow). This area will be then covered in the afternoon once the first phase has cured and is available to traffic. This work will take one day and includes:
· Sweeper truck running through the facility
· Water truck washing asphalt
· Pumps evacuating excess water from washing
· Sounds from the tractors / trucks back-up beeping signals
· Large trucks dropping slurry seal (which has an odor)
· The vibrating roller for compaction
· Loading/unloading equipment for project
The actual work may cause traffic flow delays depending on the location of the work and at what phase the contractor may be in the application. If you need to relocate trailers for use on Sept. 17 or Oct. 8, please park in the parking lot, which will not be resurfaced.
