Brooklyn, NY - A wide-ranging coalition of support continues to grow for Assembly Candidate Rodneyse Bichotte in her quest to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers, and especially the residents of the East Flatbush, Midwood, and Ditmas Park areas of Brooklyn. New York State Assembly Members Keith Wright, Nick Perry, Annette Robinson, Karim Camara, and Michaelle Solages; as well as the United Automobile Workers, Citizen Action of New York and several Flatbush Clergymen now stand with Rodneyse Bichotte.

 

"I'm humbled that my future colleagues in the New York State Assembly, Region 9A of the United Automobile Workers, Citizen Action of New York, and the leaders of great houses of worship in the 42nd Assembly District have thrown their support to our campaign," said Rodneyse Bichotte. Assemblyman Keith Wright represents the 70th Assembly District which includes Central and West Harlem and chairs the New York State Assembly's Housing Committee. He is also the New York County Democratic Leader.  In his capacity as a New York State Assemblyman, Mr. Wright gladly endorses Rodneyse Bichotte.

 

"Rodneyse Bichotte is the best candidate for the people of the 42nd Assembly District with a proven track-record of delivering results for her community," said Assemblyman Wright. "We may live in different boroughs but the plight of economically distressed New Yorkers is the same and I look forward to working with the future Assemblywoman to provide critical services for our communities that will have a tangible impact on the dire need for affordable housing and economic development."

 

Assemblyman Nick Perry represents the 58th Assembly District, which comprises East Flatbush, Flatlands, as well as parts of Canarsie and Brownsville. He serves as the Deputy Majority Leader of the New York State Assembly.

"I am thrilled to stand with Rodneyse Bichotte in her campaign to bring strength, vitality and greater opportunity to the 42nd Assembly District," said Assemblyman Perry. Assemblywoman Annette Robinson represents the 56th Assembly District, which includes most of the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. She serves as Chair of the Committee on Banks in the New York State Assembly.

 

"Rodneyse is a dedicated public servant who has worked tirelessly for economic improvement, affordable housing, education for our youth, services for our seniors and access to healthcare for the low and middle income," said Assemblywoman Robinson. Assemblyman Karim Camara represents the 43rd Assembly District, which includes parts of Crown Heights, Lefferts Gardens, and East Flatbush in Brooklyn, New York. He serves as the Chair of the Sub-Committee on Retention of Homeownership and Stabilization of Affordable Housing. He also sits on the Standing Committees for Banks, Children and Families, Consumer Affairs and Protection, Education, Housing, and Mental Health. 

 

"When it comes to the people of the 42nd Assembly District, I know there isn't a stronger advocate, fighter and champion for their cause than Rodneyse Bichotte," said Assemblyman Karim Camara, who also serves as Chair of the New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic and Asian Caucus. Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages represents the 22nd Assembly District, which includes the areas of North Valley Stream, Valley Stream, South Valley Stream, South Floral Park, Floral Park, Bellerose Terrace, North Woodmere, Elmont, Stewart Manor, and parts of Franklin Square. She is the first Haitian-American to serve as a State Legislator in the State of New York.
