Advanced Placement Testing

May brings AP testing with the rain and warmer weather.  Students are looking to earn college credit by taking the Advanced Placement exams.  IvyWise, website for AP testing, list the following as beneficial tips when preparing for exams.  The #1 tip?  Stay Calm.

Don't Cram for the test - pacing.  Students have taken practice tests in class.  Now it is time to review those tests and the major components of the course.

Use Practice Materials - Teachers have given students practice materials and there are also practice tests online from the AP College Board.

Study Groups - Talking out the information with others can help move the information to long-term memory.  And, it is a fun way to study.

Stay Calm - Remember what your teachers have said about how to take an AP test, do your prep work, and stay calm.
