The Lost Gardens of Heligan are one of the most nostalgic places to visit. Home to the Tremaynes for over 400 years, they fell into neglect and decay until re-established in the 1990s after a hurricane. Now one of the most famous and popular gardens covering some 300 acres there is so much to see including a productive flower and vegetable garden, the Italian garden, and a wild area filled with sub-tropical tree ferns. The gardens have been the subject of a number of TV programmes.

Departing from The Cathedrals Express Hotels at around 10:00, we will arrive at Heligan at around 11:00 and a guided tour has been arranged. We will depart around 16:00 giving plenty of time to explore these magnificent gardens
