Mamma Lombardi's All Natural Sauces Announces
Finalists in First "Cooking With Mamma" Recipe Contest
Four finalists have been chosen in Mamma Lombardi's All Natural Sauces first ever "Cooking With Mamma" recipe contest. Home, amateur and professional chefs were invited to submit their original recipe using any variety of Mamma Lombardi's All Natural Sauces. The four finalists were chosen by Mamma Lombardi and have been invited to participate in a live cook-off which will take place at Appliance World on Thursday, January 26 at 6 pm (Friday, January 27 in the event of inclement weather)
The finalists are:
- Jason Meyers - Beef Burgers with Manchengo, Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips, Red Onion Pickles and Mamma Lombardi's Special Sauce
- Lorin Cook - Mamma Lombardi's Special Shell Bake
- Constance Towey - Lamb a la Mamma Lombardi
- Peter Caliendo - Pete's Scungilla Fra Diavolo with Mamma's Arrabiata Sauce
Tickets to the live event will be available at a cost of $10 with all proceeds going to Bethel Hobbs Community Farm, which grows organic produce to donate to local food banks. Mamma Lombardi's will serve guests from a pasta station set up in Appliance World's newest live kitchen as finalists prepare their meals for a panel of judges. One Grand Prize Winner will be chosen.
