Kenny Neal Family & Friends Blues Hwy. 61 Music Festival is hosted by The Pointe Coupee Parish Tourist Commission & Community Center of Pointe Coupee Carnival Club. This is the first music festival that recognizes that Louisiana has had their share of musicians that has submerged from the back roads to the crossroads of Mississippi's Hwy. 49 where the legendary Robert Johnson sold his soul to devil to sing the Blues.
The festival recognizes that highway 61 highway runs through Louisiana and you can find musicians in cracks and crevasses and buried in the back roads in Louisiana. Many who have played music in
"Juke Joints" and have paid their dues to contribute to the history of music in Louisiana. Nationally and internationally Louisiana is known for their variety of foods, musics, cultures, and if combined, will
"Feed Your Soul." This event will feature live music, classic car show, carnival rides, art & crafts, Louisiana foods, and not to mention, all types of music;
