Attorney Nicholas Pittner reflects on the DeRolph v. State of Ohio et al. case


Those who were involved in Ohio public education during the DeRolph litigation period (case was filed in 1991, decided by the Ohio Supreme Court in 1997, 2000, 2001 and 2002) will refresh your recollection of the DeRolph case by reading Nick Pittner's Thirteen Years of School Funding Litigation: some Recollections and Comments. Others may find his reflections to be new information.

Attorney Pittner recently presented this paper a t the annual school finance litigator's conference in NYC. He was presented " The Demetrio Rodriguez Champion of Educational Justice Award."  This national award is given annually to a litigator deemed to have made significant contributions in school funding litigation.
