The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Beacon at Salisbury University is hosting a series of exclusive VIP Speaker Dinners over the coming months. These will be premiere events, limited to only 52 seats, featuring a cocktail hour, beginning at 6 p.m., and catered by the Executive Chefs at Salisbury University. These unique opportunities to hear from some of the most talented and exceptional National business and economic experts will only be held quarterly, and are not to be missed. 

In the first of this series, our speaker will be Eric D. Brotman, CFP®, AEP®, CPWA® is President and Managing Principal of Brotman Financial Group, Inc. founded in 2003, an independent firm assisting clients with wealth creation, preservation, and distribution. He provides investment, retirement, estate, insurance, and comprehensive financial planning services for families, professionals, executives, and business owners. 

Mr. Brotman and has recently earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation (CPWA®) from The Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA®) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also serving a four-year term on the Board of Trustees for the Maryland State Retirement & Pension System as an appointee of Governor Larry Hogan. He is a 2009 alumnus and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Leadership Maryland. Mr. Brotman was also named as one of the “Maryland Power Players” by The Gazette of Politics and Business in 2010 and one of the “Very Important Professionals” by The Daily Record in 2011.

She was also an adjunct faculty member of the Johns Hopkins University teaching a variety of courses in the graduate, undergraduate and certification level programs from 1999 through 2006.
