LWDD Postpones Canal Work in East Boca
At a recent public outreach meeting, the Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) agreed to suspend any further clearing on the L-48, L-49 and L-50 canals until the LWDD Board meeting on October 17, 2018.

City Council and Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District Hold Joint Meeting
The City Council and District Commissioners met on July 23 to discuss support for a recreation needs assessment, the Gumbo Limbo Master Plan, non-resident fees, and construction funding for the Boca National Golf Course.

Call for Artists
Beginning August 16, the newly formed Art in Public Places Advisory Board will be accepting artists' submissions for Red Reef Park's West Walls at the entrance of the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center Boardwalk. Visit our website for more information on mural guidelines and project timeline.

Fire Rescue Takes 1st
Congratulations to our
Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services
for placing
1st out of 44 teams
in the EMS Competition at
CLINCON
- Florida's Premier EMS Conference.
This was the first time since 1999 that Boca Raton brought the trophy back home with a score of 289 out of 350.
