Trenton Thunder and Fallsington Softball honors ACF

In front of a sold out crowd on Saturday, July 16, Autism Cares Foundation accepted a donation from Scott Davis, Fallsington Softball League, from the sales of Trenton Thunder tickets.

Scott and his league have been long
time supporters and donors to ACF and this year chose to present the check at the game.

Autism Cares Foundation Founders Linda and Frank Kuepper were on-hand to accept the check.  "It is such an honor to be here, and to see the families in our community giving back.  It is so generous and we greatly appreciate it," Linda said at the game.

The Fallsington Softball League also holds its Annual Softball for Autism Tournament with 100% of the proceeds going to Autism Cares Foundation. This allows ACF to continue providing 150+ free programs and events each year to children, teens and adults with special needs.

Thank you to Trenton Thunder for having us, and to Scott and his league for their continued friendship and support!

Most recently, Mary became the Program Specialist of the ACF Adult Services Division.

Favorite ACF Event: "I love the Glee Club because I like music and I like to watch the kids sing."

Fun Fact: "I love animals, especially my dog and cat."

Favorite ACF Memory: "I really enjoy the Glee Club Holiday concerts.  The special teens and adults shine in their own right at these events."

Volunteer Of The Month- David Levine

On behalf of Autism Cares Foundation I take great pride in announcing David  Levine as our volunteer of the month.

David was one of the first recipients of the ACF Scholarship Award in 2015, and has been with the Foundation since 2013.  David has volunteered for both ACF and Friendship Circle collaborative events to teach children basic skills for football, hockey, bowling and other sports.

Also, since 2013, David has assisted at our FitLife event on Thursday nights where they assist special young adults on how to perform basic agility and strengthening exercises.
Upon returning home from college for the summer, David immediately headed back to FitLife for the weekly fitness training sessions.

Just by watching David, it is easy to see how much he loves working with our young adults with special needs and enjoys helping them to feel part of a team.

Thank you David for all you do for our young adults. I know when you go back to school you will be sorely missed, but look forward to the next time you return home!

If you would like to be a "Friend of the Foundation" check out our volunteer opportunities.
