Caring Ministry
Church Mouse

Church Mouse Adoption Day will be Sunday, August 27.
A Church Mouse is like a secret pal to a college student who anonymously sends notes, care packages, and prays for that student. Being a Church Mouse is a fun and easy way to support a young person and help them feel connected to his or her church home! Look for us at the Café and come adopt a college student for the school year!

Church Mouse Program needs your support!
If you want to be a part of the Church Mouse program in a financial way, we give each student a $10 gift card twice a year during finals. This way they can treat themselves to a coffee, ice cream, or other treats while taking a break from their studies. On August 27, there will be an opportunity to donate money towards gift cards. Come see Jodi or Tanja at the Café to make a greatly appreciated donation. This is a very popular ministry among college students and they are very grateful for any contributions. Questions? Contact Tanja La Noue at 254.285.8705 or If your college student wants to be in the Church Mouse Program, please turn in the information ASAP!

Have you reserved your photo session?
September Photo Sessions are now open online!
We have completed the August photo sessions with 203 families being photographed. That is less than half of our goal of 550 families.

Why is it important to have your photograph made? Consider these situations:
  • You are new to the church, meeting lots of people. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to look up those names and remember the faces?
  • You see a name on the Prayer Concerns list. Wouldn't it be nice to look the name up in the directory and put a face to the person for whom you are praying?.
  • You are a pastor making a hospital visit to a member you don't know well. Wouldn't it be nice to check the photo so you know who you are going to visit?
It is time to sign up! The September 13 - 17 sessions are now open. You can plan your photo to reflect your family's interests. Choose your colors, bring the family dog, musical instrument...anything that you think best represents your family.

It is easy to sign up.  Click here to learn more and sign up online. If you have any trouble with online signup, contact Rae Frenette at 512.255.3336.
