The Fastest Ukes on Planet Earth
The IZOD IndyCar Series is coming to our neighborhood next week, and a group of the IndyCar drivers will be autographing 2 Kala Checkered Flag ukes.
These ukes will be raffled off at the IndyCar Charity Auction on August 26th, and the monies generated will go directly to Speedway Children's Charities. Bidders Start Your Engines! |

2012 AARP Life @ 50+ Conference features Kala Uke Circle
Each year tens of thousands of AARP Members gather for a  3-day lifestyle conference where they attend sessions, try new experiences, make new friends, and learn ways to lead active lifestyles. NAMM and its members have made music and music-making opportunities an important part of this conference for the past 10 years.
Together with AARP, NAMM hosts numerous music events including a Kala Uke Circle and live performances. This year NAMM hosts a Music and The Brain Session featuring Mickey Hart from the Grateful Dead and moderated by NAMM's Mary Luehrsen, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations and the Executive Director of the NAMM Foundation.
