Drusilla

Many of you have met our resident store-cat, Drusilla. She's a very sweet, older cat, who has "worked" at Things Celtic for many years now.

Drusilla is getting on in years, and has had some recent health concerns. She's doing fine now, but will be "retiring" sometime in the middle of August. She will be leaving Things Celtic to live a very comfortable, spoiled life in the home of Lanora (Things Celtic's owner).  All of us at Things Celtic will miss her, but wish her a very happy, healthy, peaceful "retirement".

Stop by Things Celtic in the next couple of weeks if you'd like to visit Drusilla and wish her a "Happy Retirement"!

  TRIVIA CONTEST

July's trivia question was:
"In 1603, following the death of Queen Elizabeth I, which Scottish monarch ascended to the throne of England?"

The correct answer is James VI of Scotland, and he also became James I of England.

The winner is Ana P. Cruz. There is a $20 gift certificate waiting for her at the store.

This month's trivia question is:

Let's try a Manx language question! Most homes have a 'chellveeishan' today, but what - in the Manx language - is a 'chellveeishan'?
(say it out loud & I bet you can figure it out!)

If you think you know the answer to the question, send an email to kimberly@thingsceltic.com with "August Trivia" in the subject line.  The prize this month is a $20 Things Celtic gift certificate.

The winner will be drawn from all the entries with the correct answer. Good luck!
