Willpower Is Your Secret Weapon

Every day, entrepreneurs restore my faith in humanity. This may sound grandiose, but it's not meant to. Even on the worst news day, when the world seems to be falling into a dark vortex, one call with an

entrepreneur can make me feel more upbeat.

"I have this idea and I can't stop thinking about it, so I am going for it! Why am I doing this? Ha! Because I believe in this, and one day, so will everyone else. You'll see, it's going to be great,"

is the general theme of these calls.

For Female Entrepreneurs?

When interviewing successful female entrepreneurs I often ask the question "what are the secrets to your success" and "what are the must-haves for successful entrepreneurs". Diane von Furstenberg, Stella & Dot founder Jessica Herrin, Tory Burch and several others have indicated that confidence is one trait that is critical to success.

Do You Have What it Takes to
Become a Successful
Woman Entrepreneur?

There are countless checklists and personality assessments available online to supposedly help you determine if you have what it takes to make it in business. They can be fun, thought-provoking, and interesting, but even if you "fail" a "do you have what it takes?" test, ignore the results.

Most of these tests ask questions like "are you anoptimist?" or, "are you a good leader?" They pose the cliché and superficial questions "are you creative?" and "do you work well with people?" (Any test that asks "are you a people person?" should be immediately disregarded!)

Sales Training Workshop Part 1
August 13rd | 6:00pm-9:00pm (Cost: $25)
This series will turn everything you know about selling upside down. What you know about selling products will 'be kicked to the curb' to make way for a more authentic way to make money. This series will show you how selling can be easy and fun. Selling your products doesn't require a sales pitch or manipulation. Think of sales like this... selling is all about the relationships you have with people who know, like, and trust you. Once you have established those factors, then selling happens naturally rather than forced. This series will equip you with what you must know to sell your product to more people, even when you think you are not a salesperson!
