Save box tops                         and earn $$$ for local schools

By saving box tops, you can help earn money for Bloomfield public school programs.
In the last nine years, Bloomfield's K-8 schools have earned $114,000 through Box Tops for Education, the school earnings loyalty program of food manufacturer General Mills. The company donates 10ยข per box top, up to $20,000 per school.
Franklin Elementary School and Bloomfield Middle School each earned more than $3,000 in the 2014-2015 school year.

Mind the Ps 'n Qs of bio bags

When you fill your biodegradable recycling bags, be sure to include only grass, twigs, leaves, and other vegetative waste -- no garbage, paper, dirt or rocks. The Township is fined when bags containing unaccepted items are carted to the vegetative waste recycling facility.
Also, bag weight is limited to 50 pounds. If possible try to make them lighter to save a few DPW backs!
