HIA Annual Summer Food Drive, throughout Long Island  - Register your business for the largest small business food drive on Long Island - all to benefit Long Island Cares! Visit their website for more info, and like them on Facebook to stay in the loop all summer long!

Drop Off Location, Suffolk County National Bank - drop off your donations at any SCNB location now through Labor Day! 

 
  

Week of August 1st
Saturday, August 1 - Pet Food "Stuff-A-Truck", Lake Grove Petco - Help us fill a truck with pet food for the pets of Long Islanders in need, and learn more about Baxter's Pet Pantry (as well as our other programs) at our information booth! After all, pets are family too!  We'll be there from 10 AM to 6 PM.

 

Sunday, August 2 -  Pet Food "Stuff-A-Truck", Syosset Petco - Couldn't make it to Lake Grove yesterday! No worries - we're filling another truck for Baxter's Pet Pantry today in Syosset, and we have an info booth from 10 AM to 6 PM.
  

Week of August 3rd
Monday, August 3  - Job Development Workshop, Comsewogue Library in Port Jefferson - Join us for resume writing and cover letter preparation, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM!

Tuesday, August 4 - Children's Food Truck Stuff-A-Truck at Billy Joel Concert, Nassau Coliseum - Billy Joel has asked everyone attending his concert tonight to bring a non-perishable food donation with them, to help us fill our new food truck for local kids in need. 

Tuesday, August 4 - The Driftwoods Concert, Nesonset Gazebo - Drop a non-perishable food item off or pick up some information about our programs at our info booth!

Wednesday, August 5 - Pet Food "Stuff-A-Truck", Baldwin Petco - We're filling another truck for Baxter's Pet Pantry today, and we have an info booth from 9 AM to 3 PM.
 
Thursday, August 6 - Northport Summerfest Concerts, Northport Village Park - Stop by our booth while the music plays to learn about all our programs and drop off donations for Long Islanders in need!   
 

Saturday, August 8 - Senator Boyle's Stuff-A-Truck, Shoprite of West Babylon - Join Senator Boyle in stuffing a truck with food for hungry Long Islanders from 10 AM to 2 PM.

 

Saturday, August 8 - Chapter's Rap Concert, Mulcahy's of Wantagh - We'll be there from 2 PM to 5 PM, collecting non-perishable food donations and giving out information on our many programs.

 

Sunday, August 9 - Bizzydoo Kids Fest, Hilton Hotel in Melville - Bring the kids to our booth to meet AsparaGus the Friendly Dragon and learn how we're slaying hunger on Long Island!

 

Sunday, August 9 - Pet Food "Stuff-A-Truck", Selden Petco - We're filling another truck for Baxter's Pet Pantry today, and we have an info booth from 10 AM to 6 PM.  As always, all kinds of pet food are welcome! 
  
Week of August 10th
Tuesday, August 11 - The Fast Lane, Nesonset Gazebo - Drop a non-perishable food item off or pick up some information about our programs at our info booth during the free concert!

Wednesday, August 12 - Stuff A Truck, Walbaum's in East Meadow - Spend (all or part of) your day helping our student volunteers fill a truck with food donations for LIC!  9 AM to 3 PM.

Thursday, August 13 - Department of Labor Job Fair, Half Hollow Hills Community Library - Stop by our job development info both between 1 PM and 4 PM to learn how we can help Long Islanders in need find and prepare for employment.

Thursday, August 13 - Northport Summerfest Concerts, Northport Village Park - Stop by our booth while the free music plays to learn about all our programs and drop off donations for Long Islanders in need! 

Thursday, August 13 - Mo Cassara's Sneakers and Sandals Beach Ball , Buoy Bar at Point Lookout - Join Mo Cassara and Elisa DiStefano for a night of dancing and delicious food to benefit Long Island Cares!
  
Week of August 17th
Tuesday, August 18 - That 70's Band, Nesonset Gazebo - Drop a non-perishable food item off or pick up some information about our programs at our info booth during the free concert!

Thursday, August 20 - Northport Summerfest Concerts , Northport Village Park - Stop by our booth while the free music plays to learn about all our programs and drop off donations for Long Islanders in need! 

Saturday, August 22 - Chapter's Rap Segment, WGBB Station Babylon - We're holding a food drive from 10 AM to 4 PM!
  
Week of August 24th
Wednesday, August 26 - Department of Labor Job Fair , Shirley Community Library - Stop by our job development info both between 10 AM and 1 PM to learn how we can help Long Islanders in need find and prepare for employment.

Friday, August 28 - Pet Food "Stuff-A-Truck", Wantagh Petco - We're filling another truck for Baxter's Pet Pantry today, and we have an info booth from 9 AM to 3 PM.
