Pima County Wastewater Management Department
Location: Tucson, AZ
Deadline: August 14

The Pima County Wastewater Management Department is seeking an artist or artist team to create designs for manhole covers and to design/fabricate/install a ramada and benches for a section of the El Paso SW Greenway. The construction project is a sewer line improvement project.
City of Tucson Regional Transportation Authority Location: Tucson, AZ
Registration Deadline: August 18, 2016
The City of Tucson is seeking an artist or artist team to join a design team and to create public art for the section of Broadway Boulevard between Euclid and Country Club Road. The two-mile long improvement will create a six-lane road with sidewalks, bicycle paths and landscaping. This project requires a long-term commitment by the selected artist. Design will continue into 2017, followed by a construction document phase. Construction is not anticipated to begin until 2019.
Artist Opportunity | Uranium Mining Exhibtion
Navajo Nation, the Flagstaff Arts Council and Northern Arizona University Location: Flagstaff, AZ
Educational Program: October 20-23, 2016; Registration Deadline: October 3, 2016
Hope and Trauma in a Poisoned Land is a partnership between the Navajo Nation, the Flagstaff Arts Council and NAU, and will culminate in a major art exhibition. It will bring a vital issue - uranium mining and the consequences of contamination and exposure on the people and their land - to the public's attention. In order to participate in this project, artists will be required to attend both the educational seminar in Flagstaff, about the history and science of uranium mining on tribal land, as well as take part in story sharing workshops and field trips in Cameron.
Reimagining the Wall: Open Call to Artists
Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block Location: Tucson, AZ
Deadline: August 22, 2016
The Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block is accepting proposals from artists, performers and designers of all disciplines interested in creating an installation on the campus of the Museum. The project seeks to engage community by extending beyond the main Museum building. Projects that challenge, disrupt and/or extend the traditional architectural space are encouraged.
New Special Grant Initiative and Webinars for Storying Arizona
Arizona Humanities Location: Phoenix, AZ
Deadline: November 1, 2016
A one-time grant of $10,000.00 will be awarded to a team of organizations proposing public programs designed to support a collaborative team of two (2) or more organizations' planned
Storying Arizona programming. Programs may include those which educate, interpret, and/or promote awareness of the architectural, cultural and archaeological resources of Arizona using a community-centered approach.

The first annual Sonoran Small Works Art show is a Juried Fine Art Show sponsored
by the Sonoran Arts League and open to all Arizona artists. Accepted artists will be part of the Sonoran Small Works Art Show at the Red Truck Trading Company in Cave Creek, Arizona. Artists will be eligible for prestigious awards and prizes. Professional promotion, national publicity, sales opportunities and gallery space exhibition are included for all accepted artists.

The Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation announces an exciting grant opportunity serving small to mid-sized towns and cities across the country. Up to 15 grantees will be awarded $25K each in matching funds to produce their own Levitt AMP Music Series-an outdoor, free concert series featuring a diverse line up of high caliber entertainment for all ages to enjoy.
