Artist research _ Development Grants
Artist Research & Development Grant 
Application Deadline: 11:59 pm Thursday, August 24, 2017
Artist Research and Development Grants are awarded to practicing artists who demonstrate strong, original work that impacts both their own artistic practice and the broader
community, as defined by the artist.   Grants of up-to $5,000 will be awarded to 10 - 15 Arizona artists.

Call for Teaching Artists: AZ Creative Aging Teaching Artist Institute
Application Deadline: 11:59 pm Thursday, September 14, 2017
The Arizona Commission on the Arts is seeking up to 10 professional teaching artists who have a serious, committed interest in working with older adults in community and care settings. These teaching artists will form the participant cohort for the seven-month AZ Creative Aging Teaching Artist Institute.

The Teaching Artist Institute is a comprehensive training program that will introduce teaching artists to the variety of settings, programs, and partners that make up the creative aging field, and provide skills-building activities for participants to attain the specialized knowledge needed to work successfully with older adults.

It's that time again! Each year the Arizona Commission on the Arts invites Arizonans to let us know how we're doing in our efforts to serve Arizona's communities. This year, we've added an additional incentive to participate in the survey: the AZArts Signal Boost Sweepstakes!

After taking the survey, you'll have an opportunity to enter the Signal Boost Sweepstakes* for a chance to win a "Signal Boost" for your favorite Arizona artist or nonprofit arts organization!

Professional Development Grants (PDG) are designed to assist Arizona artists, arts administrators and arts educators with funding support for participation in professional development and skills-building activities which contribute to significant professional growth. 

Arts Learning Collaboration Grants
CYCLE B Application Deadline: 
11:59pm Thursday, September 7, 2017
For activities between November 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018.
Arts Learning Collaboration Grants enhance the work of school-based arts teaching and learning programs through collaborative projects taking place in-school (during regular school hours), after-school, or during summer/inter-session and in-services.
