In honor of back-to-school time, we took a look at what these programs offer for educators, parents and students affected by chronic disease.
- JDRF International - Heartland Chapter helps children with Type 1 diabetes at school by providing resources to make sure schools and families are on the same page when it comes to support for those with T1D. Read their tips here.
- Autism Action Partnership hosts its “Circle of Friends” program in 25 schools across Nebraska. This program pairs students with autism with neurotypical children and, together, they plan activities and events to promote inclusiveness in their schools.
