PRESIDENT'S CORNER

Greetings NKBA members and friends! Can you believe it is August already? Hopefully you've all been able to create work/life balance and enjoy your summer. It is too short not to!

If you haven't recently, please visit  NKBA.org to see the extensive website updates and new features. Take advantage of the free webinars offered by the NKBA. I recently sat in on a webinar on "Trends in Cabinetry for 2019 & Beyond." It was a comprehensive, insightful look at how cabinet styles are evolving and being influenced by design trends and lifestyle factors, and what we can expect to see in the future. The webinar topics are varied, so check out the website to see what interests you, whether you are looking for CEU credits, or just want to enrich your knowledge base.

We are in the process of planning our upcoming NKBA WI/UP Chapter events and have exciting things in store! Is there a presentation topic you are interested in? We'd love to hear from you as our Chapter's goal is to support one another and bring value to your membership. You can email us at  [email protected] or message us on our Facebook page.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Denise Merbeth, AKBD
NKBA WI/Upper MI Chapter President
